Announcing Sporting Queen City

Impact GFC Families,

I wanted to make an official announcement of a program we are starting with our U15’s and above starting the end of this Fall season and next Spring season. Impact has joined with Alliance Cincinnati to make a more competitive team than what Impact has had in the past. This team will be comprised of girls that are interested in taking their game to the next level or at least have the potential to play soccer beyond high school. We are giving these the girls the opportunity to train with some top ranked trainers, and also play in some top ranked showcases in the mid-west, in hopes that they will be recruited for college. They will also be playing in the OSSL (State league) and the GLC (formerly MRL – mid-west regional league). These are the top two leagues in this area and will be playing against some great competition. The name of this new club is Sporting Queen City (SportingQC.com – Launching Soon).

If you have a daughter that when she gets to be U15 and wants to be serious about the sport, she will have the opportunity to make this team in her age group. As of now, we are only creating the one team, and then moving forward, will expand to more age divisions (U15 and up).

So if you see a former Impact player wearing a Sporting Queen City jersey, don’t be alarmed as they are still a part of the Impact family and did not jump ship to another team or club (just wearing a new uniform). We currently have 12 Impact players from our 2004 team that will playing for this new team.

Thanks and let me know if anyone has any questions.
